Create Private Group

Login to your account at: community.thegeopay.com
Click “Create” in the top right and then “Create Group”.
Select Private Group as the group type to create a private group.
You can select to upload a CSV file or to add emails manually using commas to separate the emails.
The emails are the emails associated to the app users account.
Once you have uploaded a file of all user emails or manually added them, and filled out a group name, you can click "Create".
You can now use this private group while creating an event and the event will only show up for this user group.

Create Beacon Group

Login to your account at: community.thegeopay.com
Click “Create” in the top right and then “Create Group”.
Select beacon as the group type to create a beacon group.
Fill in the beacon group name and click "Create" at bottom of Create Group section.
You can now use this beacon group for creating an event. More setup is required though.
Navigate to the Groups dropdown tab and select Beacon Group.
Identify the beacon group you want to set up in the list. You will use the UUID and either the major/minor hex id's or the major/minor id's when configuring the beacons as per your beacon manufacturer's instructions.
Once you configure a beacon(s) per your manufacturer's instructions, you can place the beacons in the desired area that the event is taking place.

NOTE:

You will need physical beacons and to configure those beacons per manufacturers instruction to use in a beacon group. Some configuration may be required to define the distance from the beacon that is considered within the event. This is done as per manufacturer's instructions during beacon setup.

Import Events

Login to your account at: community.thegeopay.com
Click “Create” in the top right and then “Import Event”.
Download a sample file of what the CSV file will need to look like to upload.
Fill out the CSV for all events you would like to import.
Leave the header rows in your file.
Once you have created your event file and selected it, click "Submit".
You will see a list of events that were created from your file and those events will now be visible on your site and on the app.

NOTE:

Currently you cannot bulk update events so make sure details are correct or you will need to edit event information one by one in the events tab.

Create Geofence Group

Login to your account at: community.thegeopay.com
Click “Create” in the top right and then “Create Group”.
Select geofence as the group type to create a saved geofenced area.
Fill in the location information and define the geofence. Anything inside of the red circle will be considered inside the geofence, thus, inside your event.
Click "Create" at bottom of Create Group section.
This geofence group will now be available to select while creating an event.
